From an early stage in life we are often taught about the awareness of others, what they may think and feel rather than learning about self-awareness which gives an ability to speak out if something is not right.
How are we really supposed to know how someone else feel?, Because, after all, they have also been taught not to express themselves!! Confusing isn't it? But I suppose it answers the question of why when reaching mid-life people can often feel frustrated with life.
Clear, truthful communication what is wrong with that? Absolutely nothing it keeps everyone informed and aware of what is going on and stops the frustration and anger building inside someone that can lead to an explosion of words which have not been said out loud for many years!
